Mama and Baby Bear

Don't you just love Polar Bears?

This card was totally cased from Laura Lipe who is the original designer of these cute little critters!

These little polar bears are so cute for Valentines Day and they are so much fun to make.  For the Mama Bear, you need 2 - 1 3/4" circles for her body and head and 1 large oval for her nose.  I rounded off the nose with a 1" circle punch, hold your punch upside down and insert your oval into the circle so that it looks about the right roundness....hope that explains it well enough!  You will also need 2 - 1/2" circles for her ears.  Then for the tip of her nose I punched a 1/4" circle in black and some really small dots for her eyes.

For Baby Bear, you will need 2 - 1 1/4" circles for the body and head, 1 small oval for the nose, then I used 2 smaller circles for babys ears (I used the yellow circle paper shaper).  The baby's nose tip and eyes are the same as Mama Bear.

I sponged all the bear body parts with Sahara Sand ink, and for the circles inside the ears I used an eraser on the end of a pencil.
